The European Championships created a special one-off online competition during the COVD-19 lockdown. Kicking off on 4 May 2020, the idea behind this free comp has served to motivate athletes in their health and fitness while access to their box or gym equipment has been so limited. This event has given us all something to focus on, something to look forward to, and has helped give training more purpose. The idea was to get as many people involved as possible, and the feedback has been overwhelming.
The competition has two categories: No Equipment and Limited Equipment.
The No Equipment Category
Although there may be times you need to get a little creative, there is no gym equipment required for this category.
The Limited Equipment Category
For the limited equipment category, you will only need the following to be able to participate:
22.5kg/15kg Dumbbell*
Skipping Rope
*A heavier KB or Dumbbell can be used, and athletes may use any form of rope for the skipping
